Debentures
Debenture Issue 2021
The Bank’s issue of fifty million (50,000,000) fully paid, BASEL III Compliant Tier 2 Listed Rated Unsecured Subordinated Redeemable Debentures with a Non Viability Conversion at a par value of Rs.100/- to raise a sum of Rs.5.0 Billion with an option to issue upto a further ten million (10,000,000) of such Debentures in the event of an oversubscription of the initial tranche at the discretion of the Bank and in such event, the maximum issue that will be raised totals to Sixty million (60,000,000) Debentures amounting to Rs.6.0 Billion, was oversubscribed and the issue closed at 4.30 p.m. on 5th April 2021.
The Bank announced the basis of allotment on the website of the Colombo Stock Exchange and allotted the Debentures to the successful investors on 12th April 2021. The Debentures were also listed on the trading floor of the Colombo Stock Exchange with effect from 21st April 2021.

Debenture Issue 2019
An initial issue of Thirty Million (30,000,000)Fully Paid, BASEL III Compliant, Tier 2, Listed, Rated, Unsecured Subordinated, Redeemable Debentures with a Non Viability Conversion at a par value of Rs 100/-, with an option to issue up to a further Twenty Million (20,000,000) of said Debentures in the event of an oversubscription at the discretion of the Bank and in such event, the maximum issue of said Debentures totaling to Fifty Million (50,000,000).
As per the Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange ,the minimum amount of investment by any “ Qualified Investor “ is Rs 10,000/- (100 Debentures )except in the case of individual investors for whom the minimum investment amount is Rs 5,000,000/-(50,000 Debentures )

Debenture Issues 2018
