Seylan Bank celebrated the Thai Pongal Festival at its head office located in the heart of Colombo.
‘Thai Pongal’ also known as the harvest festival is celebrated by Tamil Hindu devotees. The festival is dedicated to the Sun God and is a colorful celebration with sweetmeats, beautiful kolams, and masses of color. As the bank with a heart Seylan is proud to be a multicultural financial entity that supports diversity amongst its staff and peers.
The celebrations were held in the presence of the executive management, staff and Seylan customers with a series of Hindu religious observances invoking blessings to all present.
